Waitrose - Visiting a Dairy Farm

Waitrose have joined forces with FACE and Dairy Crest to promote the educational value of a farm visit for KS2 pupils. Magenta worked with the three organisations to develop and pilot a teaching resource which helps teachers and pupils get maximum benefit from a visit to a dairy farm. The booklet is available in pdf format and provides curriculum linked activities for before, during and after the visits. Topics include jobs on the farm, animal welfare and environmental stewardship.
