Environmental Protection UK

Magenta has worked with Environmental Protection UK for a considerable period, and in that time we have published three exciting primary teaching packs exploring air pollution and noise pollution.

The resulting booklets address the requirements of Science, Maths and English at Key Stage 2, and provide fun and creative activities which successfully tackle these complex issues. The most recent edition titled Neighbourhood Noise and Me has been developed by Environmental Protection UK, and sponsored by the Department for Environment and Rural Affairs (Defra). The resource aims to raise pupils’ awareness of noise caused by themselves and others in their neighbourhood, and how this can affect quality of life. All packs are accompanied by a colourful and informative poster that acts as a springboard for discussion.
