Countryside Foundation for Education

The Countryside Foundation for Education (CFE) provides access to outdoor learning opportunities for up to 330,000 school children every year through its Countryside Live events and visits to farms and estates across the UK. Additionally, the Foundation provides educational support to teachers, parents, farmers and estate managers so that everybody involved in its work has a safe, fun, hassle free educational experience.

Supporting Learning at Countryside Shows and Events

CFE, FACE and Magenta joined forces to produce a series of practical guides to ensure everybody makes the most of countryside shows and events. The three guides, for event organisers, exhibitors and schools give practical advice and guidance on planning, health and safety and curriculum links; each guide presents case studies illustrating the positive value of a well organised educational visit to a countryside event.
