Comic Relief

Magenta has a long history working with Comic Relief. Most recently we were asked to manage the development of a major project exploring fair trade. We put together a multi-disciplinary team with the skills to develop video, website and print resources and worked with them, with Comic Relief and with their project partners Trading Visions to produce PaPaPaa, a multi media resource serving Key Stage 2 and 3.

The project involved completely updating the original PaPaPaa pack published by Comic Relief in 2000 and adapting it for use online; we also sent a video crew to Ghana to film farmers in the Kuapa Kokoo chocolate cooperative to illustrate the story of ‘bean to bar’.

Schools now have access to a fantastic website www.papapaa.org and a DVD and photo pack to support work in the classroom.
