
Cancer Research UKWe began working with Cancer Research UK when we were approached by their SunSmart campaign manager. We developed a number of activities for the Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 and 2; the activities were then loaded onto their website so that teachers could find all the information they needed on sun care in one place.
We soon found that word had spread within Cancer Research UK and we have just completed a project for the Reduce the Risk campaign. This project took the form of an A1 poster providing a focus for two key messages of the campaign; stay in shape and eat and drink healthily. The front of the poster raises awareness and reinforces the two key messages, and the reverse contains an introduction to the campaign, background information for teachers, activities and assembly ideas. The poster will be made available to primary schools who participate in The Big Ker-Ching Thing initiative and will reach a large audience. |
