
British Cheese Board - KS3Food Technology
The sixth resource in the series this pack is focused on the older Key Stage 3 age range. It provides extensive background information for teachers and provides an excellent raft of activities all focusing on cheese and cheese making which are fun and relevant for students of this age. There are 24 starter activities which enable students to develop key skills required for Food Technology and also their knowledge of cheese as a ‘nutrient dense’ ingredient. The pack contains four ‘design and make’ assignments for three different end uses. Depending on the time available to schools and the skills and knowledge of the students each topic can take between three and six one hour sessions plus a raft of homework activities. The pack also provides a wealth of recipes and sheets that can be photocopied. Accompanying the pack is a DVD of the cheese making process. |
