British Cheese Board - Foundation Pack

The fifth resource in the series this pack is focused on the younger Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 age range. It provides extensive background information for teacher and it takes ideas from all of the previous packs in the series and provides an excellent raft of activities all focusing on cheese and cheese making which are fun and engaging for pupils of this age. The activities cover the six areas of development at the Foundation Stage as well as providing links to Key Stage 1 PSHE/Citizenship, English, Mathematics, Science, Physical Education, Design and Technology and Art and Design. Accompanying this pack is a set of six A4 laminated colour sequencing cards; developed for use with the younger audience they can put together the sequence of events from milking the cow to eating the cheese. Alongside this is an A2 poster showing different types of meals which include cheese.
